Cochise College - Marketing Campaign Coordination
The Creative Writing Celebration is two-fold: a writing contest open to all creatives in the county, and a workshop held on the college campus. In 2023-24, I assembled and directed a committee to plan and run the events. I hosted meetings, assigned tasks, and made sure all items were being completed on schedule.
The Marketing Plan
A large part of my involvement was creating and implementing the marketing plan to gain awareness. I scheduled ads, coordinated with vendors and sponsors, and decided where and when each marketing piece would run. I then designed the assets and oversaw their distribution.
The Design
The Result
The changes to the event—more virtual capability, more bite-sized programming—brought in a broad spectrum of ages. The Writing Contest received more entires than we knew what to do with, and the culminating workshop event saw more attendees than anticipated.
